Thought Of The Day

The day we met, I knew deep down in my heart. It was you.
The one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with and share that final breath I take.
We may not agree on all things, we may have quiet moments and disagree.
But nothing will out way you the real you I see in my eyes everyday when I awake.
For its you,
The one and only for me.

When somebody really loves you,
You have their full support in all you do.
They express their true feelings for you.
They apologise when they’ve made that wrong turn. 
They laugh with you, not at you.
They share your problems.
They earn the right to  be that one true person, the one true love of your life.

Wait till I get you home.
That’s what my mum would always say. 
In fear I would tremble in those younger years with a pale face that said so much.
A question in my mind I would ask.
What have I done to deserve those words? Wait till I get you home.
To this day I still have no answer to the question with that word wait.
So you could say I like you, we all are still waiting.

Sir Bobby, you were every school boys hero and as you grew old we matured with you.
Your place in history, with all you have achieved is legendary.
A dark cloud lays over Old Trafford, that’s full of invisible tears.
We thank you Sir Bobby for all the memories you’ve given us.
As Earth has nothing more to offer a man so kind and fair.

Sometimes through your day when things really get you down and the past is very much a part of your day.
When you go about that day to day putting one foot in front of the other, existing. 
Ask yourself the question.
Is that the real you or the Ghost of you.

 For Laura
Within your day, just like any other day.
You may come across a clown and you haven’t been to the circus.
You may meet with that person who feels your mind with nothing but fog.
You may come across a Laura. A person with depth, a person who listens. A person who acts and makes good in your day. A person who makes the difference.
Today is just like any other day. There will always be a clown, there will always be fog, and there will always be a Laura.
Avoid the circus, avoid the fog. Let the Laura in your day make the negative into your positive and bring a smile to your day everyday.
